RSS.

What is it?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It allows websites to publish their latest headlines and articles through an RSS feed. All you need to do is subscribe to a feed and you get the latest updates without having to visit the website everyday.

How do I start using it?

To subscribe to an RSS feed, you first need to have a News Reader. This is a piece of software that checks the RSS feeds and lets you know when they are updated. There are many News Readers available, we recommend using Google Reader or Firefox Browser, which has a built in reader.

Once you have a News Reader, you can subscribe to feeds by looking for RSS symbols such as RSS Logo, XML Logo or RSS Logo on webpages.
